On August 24, the “5G and Future Network High-end Forum” at the first Smart China Expo was held in the Joy Hall of Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center. Jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Chongqing Municipal People's Government and other relevant departments, sponsored by Chongqing Communication Administration and China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the conference was hosted by Chongqing Academy of Information and Communication, the IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Team, Information and Communication Economic Expert Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and other units. The conference invited academic leaders from the government and expert representatives to give speeches on topics such as 5G and future network trends, 5G empowered smart society, commercial use of 5G, and organized a high-end round-table dialogue titled “5G Powered Digital China”, to explore the best evolution path of the 5G network and future commercial use scenarios, create a high-quality 5G industry ecology with innovative experience and rich contents, and lead the new growth.
Dr. Zou Jun, CTO of SUNSEA AIOT, attended the high-end round-table dialogue. When talking about the outlook for 5G, Dr. Zou said; “5G brings extensive data coverage at low cost to everyone. Data is also the core of Internet of Things, looking into the future, the applications and smart applications on such a great amount of data, not only allows us to actively control the world, but also enables us to passively understand the world and be served by the world. Therefore, from the perspective of 5G, we must first realize the interconnection of all things. After that, we must serve human beings in a smart way, and 5G plays an important role in this. That is what SUNSEA AIOT has being working on."
