SIM7672JP is a Cat.1 bis module designed specifically for the Japanese market, based on the Qualcomm QCX216 platform, supporting reliable LTE Cat.1 bis communication and high-precision positioning. By adopting Cat.1 bis technology, the module simplifies chipset design and optimizes overall device cost, making it an ideal connectivity solution for large-scale IoT deployments across Japan.


The module supports LTE-FDD bands B1/B3/B8/B18/B19/B26/B28 and has obtained TELEC, JATE, KDDI, DoCoMo, Softbank, RoHS, and REACH certifications, ensuring full compatibility with major Japanese operator networks and enabling customers to accelerate product deployment and commercialization in Japan. With data rates of up to 5 Mbps uplink and 10 Mbps downlink, SIM7672JP enables faster data transmission while reducing communication time and power consumption, helping extend battery life for IoT devices.



SIM7672JP integrates a high-performance Multi-GNSS receiver supporting GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou, and also supports WiFi-Scan positioning, making it suitable for applications requiring accurate positioning and reliable connectivity. The module features a compact LCC + LGA package and abundant interfaces such as UART, USB, I2C, and GPIO, allowing easy integration with MCUs and helping customers accelerate product development and debugging.
