SIMCom appears on ELEXCON2019

As the year 2019 comes to an end, ELEXCON2019 has started in Shenzhen International Convention & Exhibition Center on December 19. Being one of the vanes in electronic industry of China, this exhibition is undoubtedly the grand finale this year. The exhibitors have brought their latest exhibits and presented a science and technology banquet to the audience. SIMCom have worked with Waveshare to promote a series of products based on customer reference board, and received many visitors and inquirers.

In this exhibition, one of the exhibits is the fashion version of IoT LTE CAT-M1/NB2/GNSS-GoTone-full functions, which is developed on the basis of SIMCom SIM7070G/SIM7080G. SIM7070G/SIM7080G is based on Qualcomm’s new-generation narrow-band IoT cellular chip-MDM9205, can support LTE Cat M1 (eMTC) and NB-IOT (NB1/NB2), and is compatible with 2G/E-GPRS, capable of perfectly meeting the networking demand of different vertical industries. In addition, SIM7070G/SIM7080G has multiple highlights as a new-generation LPWA module solution:

1. Full network frequency band: it supports the working frequency band of 450MHz-2100MHz, capable of meeting the customer network system demands in different countries and regions;

2. It supports 3GPP Rel.14 LTE Cat M1 (eMTC), NB-IOT (NB1/NB2). Different from SIM7080G, SIM7070G is compatible with 2G/E-GPRS;

3. It has high integration and is integrated with flash memory, RAM and radio frequency front-end. The chip size may be reduced by 50%, thus optimizing the module cost;

4. Low energy consumption: by comparison with the module scheme of the previous generation, the power consumption in PSM mode is reduced by 70%;

5. Quite small module size can meet the applications of the customers in different fields;

6. It supports TheadX/AliOS system, support Openlinux, FOTA function, interfaces with and is compatible with the mainstream cloud platform system; 

7. It supports VoLTE function, and realizes simple voice transmission function;

8. It realizes better security protection mechanism

9. Perfect AT command set and application cases facilitate direct use and development by the customers;

In addition to the fashion version of IoT LTE CAT-M1/NB2/GNSS-GoTone, this exhibition includes other models,
